What are we about?
The London Psychological, Psychotherapy and Counselling Group (LPPCG) is an assembly of highly qualified, experienced and registered psychologists and psychotherapists offering integrative face to face or online individual psychotherapy sessions.
We cover a wide range of expertise with extensive experience of working with individuals from all backgrounds who are coping with various presenting difficulties.
We advocate an integrative practice with methods matching clients, their needs and their wishes.
We strongly believe in the right of the clients to find the setting that works for them.
We offer clinical supervision services to trainees by operating a similar flexible framework, including an online open drop-in group supervision, from psychoanalytic, psychodynamic and integrative perspectives.
We offer our clinic to rent and an opportunity to join our online peer supervision group
Areas of Practice
Relationship difficulties and loneliness
The relationships that we form and maintain with others, including partners, lovers, friends and family, are a source of strength and happiness but they can also lead to pain, confusion and frustration for some and/ at some times. Navigating and understanding relationships and us within them is key for our wellbeing. Psychotherapy can support people who are experiencing a crisis in their existing relationships or who find it difficult to form or maintain new relationships.
Self searching and wellbeing
At different points in life we may pause and consider if we are on the right path, if we are content/happy or if we are living the life that we wish. Human experience is multifaceted and self inquiry can lead to positive changes or to acceptance and affirmation of our choices and paths.
Trauma and recovery
Traumatic events, even those occurred in the distant past, leave their mark on us. Coping with traumas is ongoing. Psychotherapy can help process past experiences and enable individuals to recover, cope with the present and face the future.
Additional Areas of Speciality
Children and Family Work
Providing psychotherapy to children and adolescents. We can also offer family interventions through an open dialogue approach for working with families who are coping with severe mental illness.
Severe Mental health conditions
Living with a diagnosed mental health condition can be challenging both in terms of managing symptoms and in managing other’s perceptions of mental health including potential prejudice and stigma. It can also have an impact on one’s self identity and relationships with others. Psychotherapy can help individual manage their symptoms and support them through the process of living well with their condition.
Clinical/Academic supervision
We offer flexible clinical integrative/Psychodynamic or CBT supervision frameworks for trainees in counselling, psychotherapy, clinical or counselling psychology. We also offer research and academic supervision for doctorate students.
